NOTES: 2. We realize that you may call them patients, clients, residents, or some other name, but for simplicity's sake, we are going to call them customers on this form. 3. Any write ups you give us should be emailed to us or, alternatively, furnished to us on disk in WORD or NotePad format. 4. We will be happy to take pictures for you. If you take the pictures, please, use a high-quality digital camera. You may email pictures to us in .jpg format. Exception--eStore inventory pictures are of special consideration, see the eStore section below for more on this.
2. Do you have a curriculum vitae or a bio we can use? 3. Are there any of your employees/associates who will get special emphasis? Explain who and what you want? I.e., in a dentist's office, do you want to give the dental hygenist a page of his/her own? Show the curriculum vitae, bio, picture, etc? 3a. Do you have a curriculum vitae or bio for your employees/associates who will be given emphasis? 3b. Do you want their picture on the site? 3c. Do you want their full name to show on the site? 4. Can you provide us with customer testimonials? 5. Shall we show a way for your customers to reach you in the event of an after-hours or weekend emergency? 6. Insurance:
7. Financing:
8. Consultations:
9. Registration forms--this one can apply to many different things, but typically is used for a Dr. or Dental practice. Get a copy of the forms you will ask the customer to fill out when they first come to you. Employment forms and any other forms you want can also show up here. 10. What are your office hours and days? 11. What address and telephone number(s) do you want to have show up on the site? 12. Email accounts
13. Do you have sales flyers/brochures, etc., that you typically give to new or proscpective customers? If so, please, let us borrow a set of them to help us better understand your needs. 14. If yours is a medical site, please review the privacy policy on website www.DrNickell.com. If this privacy policy is not acceptable to you, please furnish us with a write up of what you want your privacy policy to say. 15. If you know of things related to your business that are available on the web, please give us the website URL's to include on a "links" page--e.g., see www.MorrisonCPAfirm.com where an accountant shows linkages to get tax forms. 16. Do you have any community involvement we can talk about--participation in any charity events, missions events, etc? If yes, we need pictures, write ups, etc. 17. Do you do any seminars or other events that might be of interest to customers or colleagues? If yes, we need information, pictures, write ups, etc. 1. Do you want to sell merchandise directly from the website? (Doing so adds shipping complexities and requires constant attention to email, but can add to your bottom line if it works for you.) We can set you up with our proprietary software to update your inventory data base, but you will have to do the data entry, including properly-sized pictures, and maintenance of this data base on an ongoing basis--or pay us to do it at prevailing labor rates for such work. Is this acceptable to you? 2. How many products do you want to sell? 3. We use PayPal to do credit-card processing because it is secure, accepts all kinds of credit cards, and is as reasonably priced as any on the internet for what they provide. You may go to www.paypal.com and check their fees. (Fees are higher on the net than they are for a brick-and-mortar site, so be prepared for that.) We will require a cancelled check to setup your merchant account processing with PayPal or you may set it up yourself. If you set it up yourself, we will have to establish an appointment time with you when you can give us access to your account for a few minutes so that we can get needed computer coding details. 4. What is the sales tax rate where you are located? (This applies to all in-state sales and these will be automatically collected but you will be responsible for reporting said taxes to the state government--that's the law.) 5. You will need to designate a person in your organization to check email regularly through the day for any online orders. 6. Please specify an email account to receive online orders--this will need to be accessible to more than one person since it MUST be checked daily, even when the primary person is out on vacation. 7. Do you have the ability to do custom products? If yes, do you want to offer this to the customers on the web--it can make lots of money? If so, please specify the email account that is to receive requests for information on this. 8. When you ship merchandise, you are always faced with the problem of returns--we will require a returns-policy write up from you specifying how you intend to handle returns. 9. Are there any usage instructions associated with your product(s)? If so, we will require a write up from you. 10. If you want to give the customer any kind of overall special sales pitch, we will require a write up from you. 11. If your product has any special care requirements, or the lack of such need is important, we will require a write up from you. 12. You must specify (in writing) whether your product(s) are poisonous or have any other environmental or health-related considerations. If your product is poisonous, we require that you specify the poisonous contents in a section on your webpage which will also direct anyone who has been poisoned with the product to get medical help immediately. If your product requries any special handling for safety reasons, we require that this be so specified on the website. 13. If you are going to sell merchandise from your website, please read the privacy policy on our website, www.NeatStuffForMen.com. If what it says is not acceptable to you, we will require that you furnish us with a write up of what your privacy policy is. 14. A word is in order about pictures for your eStore. Two pictures of each product are required. One should be named xxxxxx_lg.jpg (where xxxxx is up to you) and it should be 300 pixels in one dimension or the other, i.e., in height or in width. This is the picture that will show up on your product page to sell the item. The other should be named xxxxx_sm.gif (where xxxxx is up to you) and it should be 80 pixels in one dimension or the other, i.e., in height or in width. This is the picture that will show up in your shopping cart. Getting and sizing these pictures are part of your inventory-build process and some package like CorelDraw will be needed to produce and size them--unless you are paying us to do the inventory, the pictures and the software to manipulate them are your responsibility.
